Yankee Candle 'Fireside Treats' Review

The Yankee Candle Halloween range came out earlier this month and I was so excited to try them because I am a bit of a sucker for a limited edition collection.

I went to a store that stocks Yankee Candle and headed straight over to the Halloween section and was a bit disappointed, Witches Brew was so intense and it didn't smell that great, Candy Corn smelt slightly sweet but I didn't feel that there was much there. Compared to the US the candle decorations are so limited, there's an amazing lantern with a bat pattern and a potion bottle tea light set that isn't available in the UK, the UK collection is focused on black cats which doesn't interest me personally.

I didn't want to leave empty handed so had a good look around saw that Fireside Treats was one of the fragrances of the month, and it smelt so sweet and amazing, but it's not sickly sweet it's a lovely subtle sweetness. I only bought one wax melt in this scent and I will definitely be heading back to get a few more while it's still 25% off!

I much prefer the wax melts over the jars as I think they're better value for money, but i'm not sure if that's just because it tends to be lots of small amounts of money, instead of one big payment. I may also have to treat myself to another burner soon because I've got a few more scents I'd love to try!
