I was in Primark a few days ago just looking for some new work shoes when a beautiful skirt caught my eye, it was so nice I had to go over to it and check it out. The thing that struck me the most was about it was the plaid pattern, in a soft grey and cream/off white, which I thought was very wintery and a little bit different. This item was £8 which I think is really good for a skirt of this quality.

After falling in love with this skirt I decided to pick up a sparkly black long sleeve top that I've had my eye on for a while as they will go together perfectly. The material of this top is one that I'm never normally sure of as the sparkly bits can also be a little bit itchy, I did try it on and it actually wasn't all that bad. Another concern I had which had was that the top is very figure hugging, you can see in the full outfit picture that the top is a lot smaller than the skirt.
